NCS recognizes that the successful management and delivery of a consistent range of quality products and services can be achieved only by the development and adherence to a clear set of company policies.

All NCS policies are authorized by the Group General Manager, and all NCS employees, suppliers and contractors across all sites required by the terms of their employment, to respect and adhere to them.

As part of our induction programme, all employees are provided with a handbook and a briefing outlining key policies and procedures, company values, and our code of conduct.

NCS is committed to the following eight values that underpin all company policies and procedures:

  1. NCS has a commitment to a work environment where the health, safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, customers, visitors and any other parties affected by our operations are paramount.
  2. Compliance with all laws, regulations and other requirements relating to all aspects of business and personal conduct within PNG and the countries with whom we interact to carry out our business.
  3. Integrity, transparency and respect in all interactions with each other and with those outside the company with whom we do business, including representative groups in relation to issues important to the community.
  4. NCS shall pursue excellence in the management of environmental responsibilities to ensure minimisation of any adverse effects on the environment and/or impacts on the local community.
  5. The ethical use of all Company resources, funds, equipment, information and time shall ensure the adoption of the highest standards of business administration, accountability and corporate governance.
  6. Fairness, within the framework of our commitments to local community groups, to potential and existing employees in all areas of recruitment, training and administration of employee benefits.
